We have our new home!
I’m still reeling.
The inspection for this trailer went far smoother than any other inspection I’ve done on one of these things. We only found one minor defect, and it really is minor. The front window shade on the left side in the front living area won’t roll all the way up. I mean, that was it.
Everything else was functional, and the fit and finish was… well, very above what I expected for something like this.
I’m sure we’ll find more items worth mentioning on our upcoming shakedown trip next week. After we get back, we’ll take our list of warranty items that we find, and the trailer itself back to the dealer. They’ll fix the items, clean the trailer and seal it, and then we’ll get it back.
SO!
Next week we are traveling to Colorado Springs for a family funeral. While it may not be the best reason for visiting that area, it will be a great way for us to test out the new rig.
Our itinerary for the next week includes the following places:
Silt KOA near Glenwood Springs, Colorado
Golden Eagle Campground and RV Park near Colorado Springs
Stagecoach State Park, Colorado
We’re going to be spending a day at each of the spots, except for the Golden Eagle, where we’ll be spending two days.
Hopefully we’ll be able to figure out how to manage this blog and keep you all updated on our progress, and show you all pictures and drone footage of each place we go, if anything, for future reference.
For now, here’s a few more pictures of our new Momentum 376TH.
